LLCHD: Coronavirus cases up, but so are recoveries
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Thursday, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announces 80 additional coronavirus cases. This brings the community total to 6,018.
Recoveries are also up, from 2,216 to 2,284. The death toll remains at 24.
LLCHD reports a total of 61 hospitalizations (29 of them county residents). Four are on ventilators.
The County’s overall positivity rate remains at 8.2 percent. While Nebraska’s positivity rate also remains at 9.7 percent.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents.
