LLCHD reports 646 COVID-19 cases on Thursday
LLCHD also reported one more COVID-19 related death, a woman in her 50s who was hospitalized and unvaccinated.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department reported 646 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. On Wednesday, 551 COVID-19 cases were reported.
LLCHD also reported one more COVID-19 related death, a woman in her 50s who was hospitalized and unvaccinated.
Local hospitals currently house 127 COVID-19 patients, 44 coming from other communities. A total of 16 patients are on ventilators.
LLCHD administered 221,540 first doses of the vaccine and 206,036 second doses. Currently, 64.6% of Lancaster County Residents are fully vaccinated.
On Tuesday, Health Director Pat Lopez announced the COVID-19 Risk Dial moved to the red category. According to LLCHD, the red category indicates the risk of COVID-19 spread and impact in the community is severe.
