LLCHD reports one more COVID-19 death
LLCHD reported the death of a woman in her 80s who was hospitalized and vaccinated.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department reported one more COVID-19 death on Thursday.
LLCHD reported the death of a woman in her 80s who was hospitalized and vaccinated. LLCHD also reported a total of 955 lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday.
Local hospitals currently house 129 COVID-19 patients, 38 coming from other communities and a total of 15 on ventilators.
Last Friday, Health Director Pat Lopez announced a new DHM that lasts through Feb. 11. The new DHM includes a mask mandate for all individuals two and older regardless of vaccination status.

On Wednesday, Lopez announced the COVID-19 Risk Dial will remain in the red category for the third consecutive week. The red category indicates severe risk of spread and impact in the community.
