LPD: 4 bullets fired into Lincoln woman’s bedroom

Authorities are investigating after several shots were fired into a Lincoln woman's bedroom. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities are investigating after several shots were fired into a Lincoln woman’s bedroom.

Lincoln police officers responded Thursday night to a home in the 3200 block of Dudley after receiving several reports of gunshots in the area.

A 47-year-old woman told officers several bullets came through the wall of her home while she was in bed.

Officers found spent shell casings in the area and four bullet holes in the woman’s home.

No injuries were reported.

Police say it’s unknown why the home was shot at.

Witnesses reported seeing two males running from the area.

No arrests have been made and police continues to investigate.
