LPD: $4,000 in cigarettes stolen early Saturday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln gas station owner would arrive at work, only to find their storefront window shattered.

Saturday morning, just before six o’clock, Lincoln Police officers were called to Fast Break, 1648 South St.

The surveillance video caught a person break into the store with their face covered. The burglar then swiped multiple cartons of cigarettes, estimated at $4,000, before leaving.

In addition to the inventory loss, the store suffered $400 in damages.
