LPD: $4,000 of meth, brass knuckles found in vehicle

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Around 10:30 pm Tuesday, investigators with the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force spotted 34-year-old Andrew Myers driving a blue 2001 Cherokee near 33rd and Cornhusker Hwy.

Investigators knew Myers had a revoked license and attempted to contact him after he parked near 35th and Cornhusker Hwy. They report seeing two passengers and a glass pipe on the front passenger seat, prompting them to search the vehicle.

They uncovered a bag filled with two bags of meth (total: 47g, $4,000 street value), brass knuckles, and a labelless prescription bottle with five alprazolam pills.

About $3,750 in cash was also found in Myers’ pockets. He was arrested on multiple drug and weapons charges.

Investigators did arrest the front-seat passenger, later identified as 36-year-old Marilynn Parker, as well after finding 3.1g of meth in her purse.
