LPD: $900 in tobacco products stolen

Someone broke into a gas station last night to steal a mass amount of tobacco---and they haven't been caught

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Phillips 66 gas station on 4749 Normal Blvd was burglarized, according to police.

LPD reported that a suspect smashed the front glass door, causing $500 in damages, entered the gas station, and stole at least $900 worth of tobacco products.

According to Lincoln police, this is the third type of incident in the last month and investigators are working to determine if they’re related.

This is an ongoing investigation, police have not identified a suspect yet.
