LPD and LFR Battle Flames in Northeast Lincoln

 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —A garage fire broke out Saturday in east Lincoln causing more than $100,000 worth of damage.

Shortly after 11 PM, Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to 1030 North 70th Street to find a garage engulfed in flames attached to a single-family home.

LPD said in addition to the garage being damaged, a 2005 Ford Explorer and a 2003 Ford F-150 pick-up truck were damaged.

The total estimated damage is $107,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but according to LPD and LFR they do not suspect arson.

LPD said there were no injuries.
