LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Around midnight on Wednesday, Lincoln police pulled over a man for a traffic stop that resulted in a narcotics bust.

Officers pulled over Robert Harms, 47, in his red 2007 Chrysler Town and Country for performing an improper turn, police say.

According to LPD, the officer could smell weed, asked the two people in the car to get out for a search. Officers reported finding a container and THC wax residue and the passenger, Austin Proctor, 19, had a pill bottle and a bag with weed.

Officers say Proctor ran from them and was found hiding in some bushes. He resisted arrest but was taken in.

Lincoln police say the pill bottle had 2.6g of cocaine and a suspected tab of LSD, which still needs further testing. They say they also found a pipe, 2.7g of weed, and a baggie with meth residue.

Harms was cited and lodged for POS of a controlled substance and POS of drug paraphernalia. Proctor was cited and lodged for POS of a controlled substance and obstructing an officer.
