LPD: Drugs, tomahawk found in car crashed on O Street

A search of the vehicle turned up 56 grams of suspected meth, 26 grams of suspected marijuana, plastic baggies, a digital scale, seven cellphones, glass pipes, a syringe and a tomahawk, police said.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities say drugs and a tomahawk were among the items found during a search of a car that had crashed on O St. early Sunday morning.

LPD officers responded to the crash around 2:25 a.m. in the 4000 block of O St., where they found a vehicle that had collided with a light pole.

Officers saw an open bottle of whiskey in the vehicle, police said.

A search of the vehicle turned up 56 grams of suspected meth, 26 grams of suspected marijuana, plastic baggies, a digital scale, seven cellphones, glass pipes, a syringe and a tomahawk, police said.

The driver – identified as 31-year-old Isaac R. Johnson – was arrested on numerous charges.
