Authorities say a social media post helped investigators find a man accused of stealing a Donald Trump flag from a Lincoln home.

Officer Erin Spilker said investigators found a Facebook post by the 19-year-old man in which he advertises the flag for sale. He lists the price at $9,999,999 and includes the descritpion “For all the trump supporters.”

The post includes pictures of the flag on fire, and has a caption with an expletive preceding the word Trump.

The flag was reported stolen Sunday from a southwest Lincoln home.

The homeowner, who did not want be identified because they fear they could be targeted again, told Channel 8 Eyewitness News they were upset someone would do this to their property.

Spilker said the man was cited by officers but the charge has not yet been entered into the court system.
