LPD: Foster parent who ran child entertainment business arrested for sexual assault

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities have arrested a man on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault.

Lincoln Police say a 17-year-old boy called the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services to report he had been abused several times over the past two years by a foster parent.

LPD identified the suspect as 42-year-old Graciano Lopez.

Lopez ran a businesses called Jolly Bean’s Magic Castle at 2332 N. Cotner St. that sold kids’ toys, magic supplies and candy, as well as offered magic shows for parties and provided other entertainment services for children, police said.

LPD investigators are working to determine if there are additional victims, and whether additional foster children had been placed with Lopez.
