LPD holds 31st annual Santa Cop Auction for charity

Doors open at 11 and the silent auction begins at noon

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police will be holding their 31st annual Santa Cop auction at the Center for People in Need on Sunday.

Lincoln Police collect donated items from the community to auction off in both a silent and live auction.

The event started after officers saw a need for the kids they see on service calls to have Christmas.

Doors open at 11 a.m. on Sunday, the silent auction starts at noon, and the live auction begins at 2:30 p.m.

This year’s auction includes a guitar signed by Luke Combs, a baseball bat signed by Alex Gordon, and a 3 day trip in a rental camper from Leech Camper Sales.
