LPD investigates hit and run, arrest man for DUI
LPD arrested Patrick Hoyt for a 3rd offense DUI with refusal test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving during replication, refusal of a chemical test and refusal of a preliminary breath test.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police arrested a man for driving under the influence after an investigation of a hit and run in central Lincoln.
On Jan. 21, witnesses in the area of 8th and C Streets reported a white Buick Regal striking another vehicle.
Officers saw the vehicle driving away from the area and located it in the 2000 block of C Street shortly after the hit and run. LPD says nobody had been injured in the hit and run.
While investigating the vehicle, officers noticed significant damage of the Buick, with a piece if the other vehicle hanging on the front bumper.
Officers contacted 27-year-old Partick Hoyt, who had two active warrants out for his arrest. Officers noticed Hoyt appeared intoxicated and conducted a DUI investigation. Hoyt refused the breath test from officers.
