LPD: Lincoln man stabbed 5 times during robbery

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man was stabbed five times during late-night robbery.

Around 8 pm on Saturday, officers with the Lincoln Police Department (LPD) responded to a home near S 10th and ‘A’ Streets for a robbery.

Once on scene, LPD found a 53-year-old man who’d been stabbed. He said someone had knocked on his door, and when he answered, a man sprayed him with pepper spray while another man assaulted him.

During the fight, the victim was stabbed three times on the left side of his abdomen and two times on his right side, including several cuts on his left forearm.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. His phone was stolen by the suspects.

It is unclear whether the assailants knew the victim.
