LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teenager was arrested after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at a man’s head.

Lincoln police responded Saturday morning to the area of 11th and B St. on reports that a man was pointing a gun at people.

Officers arrived and saw a man, later identified as 19-year-old Graham Newton, standing on the porch of a home and yelling.

Officers heard a gun being racked as they approached Newton, Officer Erin Spilker said, but he was taken into custody without incident. A 9mm handgun was found in his shorts pocket, Spilker said.

A 20-year-old man told officers Newton had come to his home asking about money he had lost when he became upset, pulled the gun and threatened to shoot the man and a 17-year-old girl who was also present.

Newton was lodged for two counts of terroristic threats and two counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony.
