Authorities have arrested a man who they say attacked two other men with a knife.

Lincoln police officers responded Saturday afternoon to the 4000 block of Colfax Ave. where they arrested 21-year-old Keagen Webber.

When officers arrived, they learned a 40-year-old man and his 37-year-old friend had put Webber’s girlfriend in a vehicle and were attempting to take her to a safe location because they believed Webber was assaulting her, police said. The girlfriend did not want to go with the men, police said.

Once Webber found the men, he assaulted them with a knife, police said. Both men suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Webber was arrested for two counts of second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Officers are still investigating whether Webber’s girlfriend was kidnapped and if probable cause exists to make an arrest, police said.
