LPD: Officers uncover $40K stolen vehicle during traffic stop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Monday night traffic stop led Lincoln Police to a $40,000 stolen vehicle.
Around 8 p.m., officers pulled over a white 2020 Lincoln Nautilus SUV near 17th and Washington Streets.
The driver, identified as 42-year-old Jorge Yzeta, was unable to provide proper ID or paperwork for the vehicle.
Investigating further, officers found Yzeta had a suspended license and the vehicle had been stolen out of Omaha on Jan. 12.
Yzeta was arrested for felony theft by receiving and driving during suspension.
