LPD: Student suffers burns after girl put hot glue on his neck

A teen was referred for assault charges after authorities say she put hot glue on the back of a boy's neck.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen was referred for assault charges after authorities say she put hot glue on the back of a boy’s neck.

The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at Schoo Middle School.

Police say a 13-year-old boy suffered second-degree burns after a 13-year-old girl put hot glue on his neck.

Medical personnel told police the boy will likely have a permanent scar.

The girl was referred to the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office for assault.
