UPDATE: Victim identified in Sunday shooting

19-year-old Tyler Foster has been identified as the suspect in the shooting and 68-year-old Michael Herring as the victim.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE: Lincoln Police have identified the victim in a Southeast Lincoln shooting that happened on Sunday.

LPD identified 68-year-old Michael Herring as the victim in the shooting.

According to LPD, Herring remains in stable condition at a local hospital.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police have identified the suspect in a Southeast Lincoln shooting that happened on Sunday.

LPD identified 19-year-old Tyler Foster as the suspect in the shooting.

Police say an argument over a driving incident began between Foster and the victim around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday. The victim was approaching the vehicle when Foster shot him twice.

Paramedics performed life-saving measures on the victim. Police say the 68-year-old man remains in the hospital in stable condition.

Police talked to witnesses, collected evidence and recovered the gun.
