LPD: Woman trails man, claims to be on meth

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One man was being tailed by a driver who claimed to be high on meth.

Just after midnight Thursday, a caller reported a blue sedan had followed him to his home near N 70th and Fremont Streets and parked in his driveway behind him.

Officers approached the vehicle to find the driver, 48-year-old Michelle Goodro, asleep at the wheel. Once she was awakened, Goodro told officers she had used meth.

Visibly impaired, a DUI investigation was done. A search of Goodro’s vehicle was conducted, leading officers to find 22.7 grams of meth, 2.4 grams of cocaine, 2.5 grams of an unknown white powder, and various drug paraphernalia.

Goodro refused to say why she was following the caller. Goodro was cited for a DUI and multiple drug charges.
