The LPS job fair will be held at the Culler Middle School gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Staffing shortages are affecting everyone, and Lincoln Public Schools is no different. On Friday, LPS is holding a job fair to try and fill several positions.

The job fair will take place at Culler Middle School in the gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

LPS is looking for para-educators, custodial staff, food service staff, and substitute health technicians.

The job fair will be open to the public and there is no pre-registration.

Jessica Stilwater, LPS Human Resources Specialist, explained why people should consider LPS.

“Lincoln Public Schools is an awesome place to work, there are so many good people here who really care about kids and we all sort of work with that mission in mind of supporting kids and supporting education. So I think someone who wants to make a difference should definitely consider Lincoln Public Schools,” says Stilwater.

Stilwater also mentioned that all of the available positions have benefits, including the part-time positions.

LPS is asking people planning on applying for positions at the fair to bring these items.

  • Drivers license, Email Address, and Social Security Number
  • At least 3 references with email addresses
  • Previous work history
