Man arrested for drugged driving at NSP office

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol arrested a Waterloo man who was reportedly on drugs Thursday morning at the agency’s Omaha office.

Troopers noticed the man checking doors and attempting to get inside the building. The man, identified as David Maslo, 49, ran to a vehicle when he realized a woman he met in the parking lot was an NSP investigator.

A uniformed officer met with Maslo who at that point was in his truck. Maslo appeared to be under the influence of drugs, the patrol said.

Maslo was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in Douglas County Jail.
