Man assaulted and robbed Thursday morning, police investigating

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Early Thursday morning, a man claims to have been assaulted and robbed by multiple people.
Officers received a report that a man may be in danger. They the 39-year-old victim near 48th and Huntington Ave. around 4:30 a.m.
The victim claimed he was visiting someone near 25th and Teresa Street when multiple persons, unrelated to the person being visited, approached them. They began kicking and punching the victim, before stealing his phone and EDT card.
The victim was treated for lacerations and bruises at a local hospital. The incident is still under investigation.
