LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- On Monday, Tyler Hottovy experienced something we all dread: he dropped his phone in the lake.

Tyler dropped his Apple iPhone at Platte River State Park, luckily, Nebraska Game and Parks were able to save it!

Game and Parks workers dove 15 feet down into the lake’s muddy waters to retrieve the phone and 30 hours later it was returned to Tyler–with a little surprise. The phone’s heroes took this selfie to commemorate the occasion.
