Man expected to survive gunshot wound, Omaha Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was hospitalized in Omaha after suffering a gunshot wound on Thursday.
The Omaha Police Department says officers were called near 106th and Fort Streets around 2 p.m. on report of a shooting.
Arriving officers found a victim, identified as 20-year-old Rashaun Benton, who had been struck by gunfire.
He was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police did not share more information, but they said an investigation is ongoing.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest. Tips can be made anonymously.
