Man lost control of vehicle, crashed into pole in northeast Lincoln, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was injured Monday when he crashed into a pole in northeast Lincoln.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 11 a.m. near 56th and Holdrege Streets.
Police said a man was heading south on 56th Street when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the pole.
He was then taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Lincoln Electric System crews were at the scene inspecting the damage to the pole.
A part of 56th Street was closed as officers investigated the crash.
Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash, according to police.
