LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man fled after causing a three-vehicle crash near 70th and O Streets on Saturday, Lincoln Police say.

Around 1:10 a.m., a Ford F-150 was turning west onto O Street when it was struck by an eastbound Mercedes E 350.

Police say the collision caused the truck to crash into a nearby Cadillac XL Roadster, which had also been turning west onto O Street.

The driver of the Mercedes, 49-year-old Peirce Williams, then ran away from the scene, according to police.

Officers eventually found Williams nearby with the help of a service dog, police say.

He was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an injury accident, driving under suspension, driving under the influence, violating a traffic signal and having no proof of insurance.

Police say several people involved in the crash had minor injuries.
