Man stabbed in chest by girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend in Omaha, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was stabbed by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend outside of a home in Omaha on Monday, police say.

Around 7:20 p.m., a 19-year-old man walked outside of a home near North 90th and Maple Streets when he was confronted by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend.

The ex-boyfriend, who police say is a juvenile, then stabbed the victim in the chest and ran away.

The victim was to a local hospital to be treated for his injury.  Police say he is in “stable condition.”

An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
