Man steals restaurant employee’s bike at knife-point

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Wednesday, around 8:30 p.m., Lincoln Police responded to the Venue, 4111 Pioneer Woods Dr., on a report of a larceny and associated terroristic threats. On scene, officer contacted a 38-year-old male who said he witnessed an adult male stealing a bike that belonged to a Venue employee.

When the victim confronted the thief and told him to drop the bike, the suspect brandished a knife and told him to back off. The suspect then got into a vehicle and left the scene.

Officers did gather evidence from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
