Man stole Lincoln Hy-Vee employee’s credit card to go on shopping spree, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man stole a Lincoln Hy-Vee employee’s credit card and went on a shopping spree at several stores, police say.
Police are still searching for the man, who stole the employee’s wallet on March 13.
During the shopping spree, he made purchases at the Hy-Vee, a Target and two Walgreens stores, according to police.
In security video, the man is seen wearing glasses and has tattoos on both of his hands. He was also spotted driving a white two-door Chevy Silverado.
Police are also looking for the man who snagged a $1,400 Onewheel, which is similar to a hoverboard, from a shelf at Scheels on Feb. 28.
He left the store without paying for the Onewheel and left in a Chrysler Aspen, which has yellow rims. The vehicle also had a dent on the driver-side door, police say.
Anyone with information on either case is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
