Man threatened with BB gun during argument over cigars, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – One man pulled out a BB gun during a heated argument over cigars on Tuesday, Lincoln Police say.

Just after 5:30 p.m., officers were sent to a motel near 11th Street and Cornhusker Highway after a caller said a gun was pulled on her fiancé.

The victim told police he had been in an argument with a 25-year-old man over some cigars.

During the dispute, the suspect pulled out what the victim believed to be a black handgun, police say.

Officers then went to the suspect’s hotel room and ordered him to come out.

He complied and was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats.

Police say the suspected handgun turned out to be a “realistic-looking” BB gun.
