Man threatened with gun for making dogs bark, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was threatened with a gun Monday for causing dogs to bark at a home near 31st and P Streets, Lincoln Police say.

Around 6:43 p.m., the victim told police that 39-year-old Tony Huisman pointed a gun at him.

The victim was walking his dog in an alley past Huisman’s home, causing dogs in the yard to start barking.

Huisman then came out of the home and pointed a handgun at the victim, police say.

The man continued down the alley before calling the police.

When officers arrived at the home, they found Huisman sitting on his front porch with a handgun, police say.

Huisman was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
