LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — In the spirt of March Madness, a bracket buster party was held at Alchemy Aqua Vitae in the Haymarket.

The Junior League of Lincoln hosted the event as a fundraiser to help fund the projects that help local communities.

“It’s really important to us because Junior League of Lincoln is a non-profit, and without everybody’s help we don’t succeed,” said Hannah Norman, the former President of the Junior League of Lincoln organization.

“We can’t help get diapers on babies. We can’t help get clothes for high school students. We can’t help youth transitioning out of foster care or anything for their houses. So we need funds, we need fundraisers to help us do that.”

The proceeds of the fundraiser will help fund the Diaper Bank, Clothesline, Homestart and The Little Black Dress Initiative.
