Maroon 5 cancels North American tour, including show in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – This announcement might take its toll on some fans: Maroon 5 has canceled its North American tour, which included a show in Lincoln on Aug. 10.
The band made the announcement on its Facebook page on Friday.
The band said that due to “unexpected issues” and exponentially increased costs, it would be unable to put on a first-class show for its fans.
“Although current events and the ups and downs of the global economy are outside of our control, we sincerely and genuinely apologize for the situation and we thank you for your continued support,” the band wrote.
Shows at the Festival d’ete De Quebec and at Universal Studios Orlando will continue as scheduled, according to the band.
