Men spent more time with their kids when they only had to work four days a week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — According to new research, men spent more time with their children while participating in the world’s biggest four-day workweek trial.

Starting last June, employees in the United Kingdom worked 80% of their usual hours for six months.

The time male workers spent looking after their children rose by 27%.

Both managers and employees described how the extra day off changed their lives for the better.

They said it gave them more time to run errands, take up hobbies and simply recharge.
