LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — If you’re looking to add one, two or nine adorable puppies to your home, head to the Capital Humane Society.
A litter of yellow lab-Australian shepherd mix pups are waiting to be adopted.
On Wednesday, they celebrated their 8-week birthday, meaning they can now be adopted by anyone looking to add four paws to their life.
Matt Madcharo, executive director of the humane society, brought two of the pups, Lobster and Eel, to the studio to talk about the exciting adoption promotions happening now.
The shelter is nearing capacity for cats and dogs, so it’s started an adoption promotion called Pool Pawty.
Anyone looking for information about fostering kittens should attend the Kitten Shower on Saturday at the Pieloch Adoption Center.
