More deer are on roadways during the fall, drivers urged to slow down
BUFFALO COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) — The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is warning drivers as more deer are on the move.
BCSO said that as harvest begins, drivers should expect more deer in roadways.
They urge drivers to slow down near fields and wooded areas. BCSO said if one deer is seen, always look for more because they travel together.
Deer are more likely to appear around dawn or dusk, according to BCSO.
