More than a dozen units race to put out Lincoln garage fire on breezy morning

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Fire & Rescue battled a blaze on A Street on Tuesday morning.

More than a dozen units were called to a garage fire between 19th and 20th Streets around 11 a.m.

That’s right across from Breta Park and on the same block as Near South Park.

There were concerns with power lines when they arrived, as the detached garage is right next to a series of utility poles.

Crews worked quickly to prevent flames from spreading to other structures on another breezy morning in the city.

There’s no word on how the fire started or if anyone was injured.
