Motorcyclist identified after killed in fatal Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Today, authorities with Lincoln Police Department (LPD) identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Friday evening.

Eric Supencheck, 49, was two days away from his 50th birthday on Sept. 1.

According to LPD, Supencheck was involved in a head-on collision with a sedan around 10 p.m. on Homestead Expressway. The driver and three passengers of the sedan were taken to the hospital but did not obtain any life-threatening injuries from the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.

A GoFundMe has been created for Supencheck’s family. According to the page, the contributions will go towards his two children.
