Multi-car crash left driver with life-threatening injuries

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Yesterday, July 28, around 5 p.m. a multi-car crash occurred at the intersection of North 27th Street and Cleveland Avenue.

The Lincoln Police Department and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were both dispatched.

After investigation, officers found that a Nissan Murano, driven by a 35-year-old Lincoln man, was driving at an excessive speed. The Murano then struck a GMC Canyon. The Murano rolled onto its roof, striking a Chevy Silverado, before rolling upright.

The driver of the Murano was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Canyon were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to LPD, the investigation is ongoing.
