Multiple crashes along I-80, lane closures
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KLKN) — I-80 westbound was closed from York to Kearney around 3 p.m. today.

According to Nebraska 511, all lanes have reopened.
With the winter weather whipping up, multiple accidents have been reported along Interstate 80.
First, a jackknifed semi-truck has led to the closure of the westbound lane on I-80 at the Hershey exit.

Shortly after, another westbound lane on I-80 was closed at MM 312, near Grand Island, due to multiple crashes. Only the left side is blocked currently, traffic can still flow down the right lane.
It is unclear what led to the accidents at this time, but make sure to adjust your route accordingly especially if you will be traveling westbound.
