Fire destroys garage and trailer in Southeast Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) –One home in southeast Lincoln has serious damage to its garage after a trailer in the driveway caught fire Saturday afternoon.
Volunteer firefighters from Bennet and Southeast Fire Departments responded to calls about a fire at 9541 Burton Street where they found the trailer and garage engulfed in flames.
One neighbor described the scene saying the initial explosion sounded like gun fire.
No one was injured and a dog was rescued.
It’s unknown what caused the fire, it’s currently under investigation.
