LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teenage girl and a woman were killed by a gunman in a shooting at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School in St. Louis, Missouri, according to ABC News.

Several victims have been hospitalized with injuries. The conditions of those injured are not immediately clear, and the source said not all injured were necessarily shot.

The suspect is said to have been “quickly stopped by police” inside the school.  They appeared to be about 20 years old, the St. Louis Public School District and St. Louis police say.

The district is still having students evacuate from the building.

Police say, “the scene is secure and there is no active threat.”
