UPDATE: Missing inmate in custody

Authorities are searching for an inmate who left a Lincoln correctional facility Tuesday night.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities have found and arrested a Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L) inmate who walked away from the facility Tuesday night.

The inmate, identified as Reece Stack, was found in Lincoln and will be turned over to the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS).

Stack has been serving a 20-year sentence for second-degree assault since 2011.

Nebraska Department of Corrections officials say Reece Stack left the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln around 7:30 p.m.

Stack is described as a white man, 5’6″, 161 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is serving a 20-year sentence for a second-degree assault charge out of Dodge County.

Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
