NDOT continuing to work on roads and bridges

The Nebraska Department of Transportation is continuing to work on restoring roads and bridges damaged by historic flooding in March.

NDOT will hold several open house public meetings to share information about its flood recovery plan and Emergency Relief projects in response to the flooding.

Nebraska residents are encouraged to attend the meetings if they’re interested in learning more, about the department’s efforts.

The first meeting will be on Tuesday, June 25th, from 2:30-4 p.m. in the Kimmel Conference Room, which is located at 5995 G. Road, Nebraska City, NE 68410.

The second is Wednesday, June 26th from 2:30-4 p.m. at the Lifelong Learning Center at Benjamin Avenue in Norfolk, NE 68701. 

The third is on Thursday, June 27th, from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Holt County Annex, 128 N. 6th St., O’Neill, NE 68763.

They’ll be going through their efforts to make Nebraska highways safe and efficient, through temporary and permanent solutions.

The open houses will feature displays and handouts, including project details and timelines, with NDOT representatives available to help people with questions.
