Nebraska authorities investigating homicide, body found in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb.(KLKN)- The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide, in collaboration with the Omaha Police Department.

According to a DCSO press release, authorities received a missing person report for 39-year-old Laron Hodges of Omaha on February 7. Family members say they last saw Hodges on February 2. Detectives were later able to find Hodges’ vehicle in a private impound lot in Omaha. According to a press release, Hodges’ body was found concealed inside.

Omaha Crime Stoppers is also offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the identification and arrest of whoever is involved.
