Nebraska authorities say missing trailer in Furnas County had been ‘borrowed’

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A trailer that was reported stolen from a Cambridge business last month had been “borrowed,” the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office says.
In an update posted Thursday, the sheriff’s office said an “authorized 3rd party” did not let Pinpoint Communications know that they had borrowed the trailer.
The trailer, which is worth around $52,000, was returned to the company on Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office said they will not be filing any criminal charges.
