Nebraska baseball defeats UNO behind Drew Christo’s career-high 8 strikeouts

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After losing twice to UNO this season, Nebraska baseball flipped the script Tuesday to defeat the Mavs 6-3.

Pitcher Drew Christo threw a career-high eight strikeouts.

He allowed just one run over four innings for the Huskers.

Offensively, freshman Dylan Carey stole the show.

He drove in four runs for Nebraska, including a three-run homer out to left field in the second inning.

Next up, the Huskers face South Dakota State at home Wednesday night.
