Nebraska baseball to resume suspended game against Creighton on Tuesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska baseball will resume its game against Creighton which was suspended last month due to lightning.
In a press release Wednesday, Nebraska Athletics said the game will resume Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha.
The game will start back up in the bottom of the seventh inning with bases loaded, no outs and Nebraska at-bat.
When the game was suspended, the Huskers were tied 4-4 with the Bluejays. Gabe Swansen will be first up to bat when the game starts.
After the game, Nebraska and Creighton will face off in the series finale, which is scheduled for 7:03 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
The Huskers are 1-3 against in-state foes this season and have lost seven of their last eight games against the Bluejays.
